Scion Logo Lettering

The finished product is shown above installed on my car

To give an interesting look to the back end of my car, I took inspiration from the Porsche 911 and changed the logo from the stock Scion symbol to Scion spelled out. The lettering was designed in Fusion 360 and the dimensions of the letters and placement were taken from a 3d scan found on the internet of a different Scion FRS. The font used is the official Scion font and the letters were 3d printed out of gold PLA and painted using metallic silver paint. The letters are glued to the trunk garnish which was replaced to avoid doing permanent damage to the car.

The image above shows the original iteration of the logo on the 3d scan. The font was then changed and the letters were 3d printed.
